A Message from Be the Change for Clean Water

Ohio Stormwater Awareness Week 2024

October 1st-7th

Stormwater Awareness Week is a regional and statewide effort that encourages communities to utilize newsletters, social media posts, and educational events to raise awareness of how rainwater moves through infrastructure and our environment.

Anyone can participate in Stormwater Awareness Week (municipalities, townships, schools, watershed groups, families, and individuals.)

Clean streams start with you!

  • Mulch leaves on your grass to help soil conditions.
  • Properly dispose of chemicals and hazardous waste that’s no longer being used.
  • Fix car leaks to protect water quality.
