Explore Stream Life and Monitor Water Quality
Come explore stream life in your local Scenic River. Learn how ODNR determines stream health by the types of animals we find using a kick seine and turning rocks. Free and open to the public. Groups are welcome or can schedule a free private outing. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get wet. Attending qualifies as first step to becoming a stream quality monitoring volunteer. Activity is weather and water-level dependent, so please RSVP to Christine Szymanski, Central Ohio Stream Quality Monitoring Coordinator, to stay informed of changes.
